One will be a female division and I reckon they could do a Heavyweight one. They have Hrgovic signed and if the Series will be on DAZN, I reckon you could have fighters like Zhang in there too.

Logical call, the top names (if anyone knows them) at bridgerweight should be gettable and probably get some good competitive fights. Hope they let the Russians fight.

I always wondered what happened to these guys does anyone know why they disappeared? Are these guys a formal boxing promoter or what do they do exactly

I do like the idea of HW using contenders. These guys aren't active enough on their own.

Love it! Everyone loves a tournament!

I think CW and 118 both have room at the top now that Usyk/Inoue are gone.

Even if it's not a high profile division I love the format.

Can you imagine how much money Fury would demand to fight four times in a year versus all top ten contenders??

Hrgovic, Anderson, Sanchez, Mahkmudov, Jalalov, Dychko, Ajagba, Clarke, Dubois, Bakole, Gassiev, Wardley, kossubutskiy, Zhang, Demirezen. Draw eight of these guys names from a hat. That is your tourney and winner gets a mandatory within six months!

    I
big league promoters shut them out. note how no arum or haymon fighters have been involved.

it was the best thing to happen in boxing over the last decade, but it was never going to last…the best fighting the best, regularly, in their primes? what a crazy idea!

I don't think it happens, but you could make a decent tournament with Matchroom fighters and free agents/those with small promoters who have worked with MR before. Many top 30 fighters are with other promoters and I don't see them working together for the WBSS.

    Hrgovic (MR)
    Zhang (MR)
    Whyte (MR)
    Wardley (MR)
    McKean (MR)
    Chisora (FA)
    Pulev (FA)
    Wallin (FA)
    Bakole (FA)
    Gassiev (FA)
    Franklin (FA)
    Hunter (FA?)
    Kossobutskiy (FA?)
