BREAKING: Peter Quillin spotted in life raft off Florida Coast

    MIAMI, Florida (AP) -- Former WBO boxing Middleweight Champion Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin was spotted by US Coast Guard officials this morning frantically paddling a rubber dinghy in the direction of Cuba, in what can only be termed a bizarre twist in the history of defectors from Cuba to the United States.

    Though Quillin's motivations for such a drastic move remain uncertain, according to those present, he was overheard yelling loudly back to shore, "That Triple G fight don't make sense!! 2015 GONNA BE A BIG YEAR FOR KID CHOCOLATE! AL HAYMON IS A GOD DAMNED GENIUS!"

    Quillin, a native of Chicago, has roots in the Caribbean -- His father was born and raised in Cuba.
