Khan stays off the ropes more and outclasses Peterson in the middle of the ring to edge a close UD. Book it.

He also fought to some pretty good gameplans against Kotelnik, Judah and Malignaggi. Good fighters who he shutout and stopped.

I think Khan's biggest flaw is his fear, esp afer the Prescott KO.

If you can take his punches and keep coming after him, he folds mentally. Run run run, and if and when caught break the rules, push, headlock, and cry.

I actually think Petersen may have an easier time of it.

Unless the ref is cooked and allows anything from Khan.

WHich is what I half expect!!

Khan is a sissy little girl that holds, pushes, complains, runs and cries all day long. I hope Peterson throws that WBA belt away. Please let me know exactly what their findings were to order an immediate rematch. BUll **** as usual. They want the more popular money making Khan to be their champion. All bull ****. They can fight later on sometime. Let Lamont make some money, and Khan can fight Prescott or someone else. Hmmm... Maybe Khan shouldn't fight someone else, because he will lose. He's not a real fighter.

i'm afraid that this time, they'll find a ref who will let Amir Push and hold as much as he want. And a jury that will bail him out if it is againg a close fight.

If that's the case he won't need to improve his inside game.

Waiting for the IBF ruling, because Peterson might just drop it and not fight if he has a better deal on the table.. Hopefully they mandate a rematch as well, only because I enjoyed the fight. If Khan doesn't get it oh well, shouldn't have been pushing.

IBF is usually worse, they could rule NC. But will prob follow suit.

"After reviewing testimony from both sides, the WBA felt that the performance of the referee –
    This content is protected
    – ultimately determined the winner and loser in the bout due to what the organization found to be
    This content is protected
    .

While the WBA agreed that the discretionary decisions of the referee will not be overturned, his performance coupled with “
    This content is protected
” warranted the ordering of an immediate rematch.

The WBA has ordered a rematch to take place within “the next 120-180 days.”

pathetic!!!! khans whining got rewarded, now everyones gonna cry and whine like a little ***** when they lose a close fight and try to get their decision overturned, way to go wba! khan's the bigger name and better $$ champ for them, that's why they did this. Peterson should say the hell with it and drop the wba and just keep the ibf....ultimately khan would rather fight some joker for the vacant wba anyways, another loss to peterson would derail his career pretty badly.....plus peterson has a potential Pacman fight, who cares about whiny crybaby khan. get it over it, you lost a close fight..... his whining like a child turned me from a fan to a hater in a matter of weeks and i'm sure i'm not alone, his character is pathetic. And why was the round 1 knockdown a major factor in overturning their decision? there was NO knockdowns in round 1, Peterson clearly slipped twice....no knockdowns even though Khan WAS credited for 1!! So they're sayign Khan should have been credited for 2 fake knockdowns!!! wow! WBA never ceases to amaze me with corruption. Khan should have to rematch Maidana or Prescott before he gets another shot at Peterson, what a sore loser, he should take notes from Froch and Chisora on how to display dignity.

I think Peterson should just take the fight. It should be the most winnable and outside Pacman probably the best paid. He matched up well with Khan I would actually prefer Lamont giving Khan a rematch than fighting anyone else. But win or lose Lamonts stock already went up and fights with Marquez, Rios, Guerrero, Maidana, Paris, Guzman, etc would all be entertaining.

Pretty sure Peterson can win the rematch by KO. Khan showed nothing in the fight to suggest that he is capable of dealing with Peterson, what will he do when Peterson closes him down?

    Run?
    Hold?
    Back up to the ropes?
    Foul?

cause he sure as **** can not fight in the inside, and Peterson showed he can hurt Khan while walking through Khan's flurries.

For what it is worth, even without the points deductions, and including Khan's bull**** first round KD - I had Peterson winning.
