I'm at work and can't turn the sound on.

What did Eddie have to say?

The email sounds pretty amateurish which Wilder sent. Certainly not one you expect from an offer of $50 mil, 50/50 split. Not professional at all.

Hearn said he spoke to AJ. Wants proof of the money, where its come from and whether it's real. AJ asked Eddie who is putting up the money?

Hearn wants guarantee of the money is secure. Not interested in agreeing to a fight and then they go and try raise the money. Wants guarantee that the money is there now.

Finds it strange they have put this out when a meeting is scheduled for Friday.

Is defiently interested if the offer is real.

Isn't taking it too seriously yet until he sees where the money is?

Says 20-30% of journalists have asked him if they actually have the money or are they trying to get the money by putting it out to tender?

Hearn says that's a no no. The money has to be there right now. Offer didn't come from Finkel or Haymon,, came from Wilder.

Hearn says needs to know the venue and guarantee of rights that AJ has obligations to.

Expects to see paperwork on Friday if its genuine

Offer doesn't come from the guys legally responsible for the making legal offers. That is so legit, too legit to quit!

Very bizarre. I can see why Hearn is calling it a PR stunt.

It sounds like Hearn is peeing in his pants with happiness to accept this offer. The fight will have to be in Vegas of course.

Poor AJ fans. This fight terrifies them and now it’s going to happen.

Wanting to know where the money is from and it's guaranteed right now is perfectly good business sense.

If they money is legit team Wilder should have no problem putting it into an escrow account right now.

Lots of issues here to be sorted through so for Wilder and his Team to give a 24 hour deadline is ridiculous, that is unreasonable and unrealistic.

They are suppose to be meeting this Friday, 48 hours away, seems a strange thing to say and to demand they accept this within 24 hours.

The money also needs to genuinely guaranteed, Wilder gets paid roughly 1.5-2 million dollars a fight, so call me sceptical but where is huge amount coming from?

It needs to be shown, this can't be projected through or linked to PPV numbers cause Wilder hasn't got any in the US.

Venue, it hasn't been mentioned, yet they want AJ to sign within a day, where and what sort of size arena are we talking here? Again with respect Wilder can't fill the Barclays Centre.

TV will probably be an issue, AJ obviously has a contract with Matchroom/Sky and the $50 million offer is for total control of the fight.

With all due respect I believe this is just a PR stunt, if it wasn't they would not have made it public right now, they would have spoken to Hearn's face this Friday when they meet and then came out and spoken about afterwards if they really wanted to.

Excellent publicity stunt, if nothing else.

We can probably fairly confidently put the cue in the rack until the face to face meeting on Friday.

This is what makes me think Joshuas side is serious about what thet say. The majority of the time when people say something like this they always forget to mention the "buts" knowing that the masses of xasual aren't bright enough to realize there is a "but". However, Joshuas team are letting people know what the side details are so that they can't pull that move.

You are completely delusional with those numbers. Come on man! No one can take you seriously with the obviously bias bs youre spewing. AJ should take the deal because this fight wont be a big ppv here in the states. For a guarantee of 50mil he should jump on it immediately.

Interesting turn of events. Personally I think it sounds incredibly fishy. No proof of funds, no paperwork (what exactly is Hearn supposed to sign then?), no date, no secured venue. Until all of these things are in place the offer is no more than grandstanding, and Hearn and co are under no obligation to adhere to the deadline.

At the moment it's just pie in the sky stuff, and Hearn has the right to be skeptical. I would be in his place.
