Breaking: WBC Suspends Dillian Whyte's Position as Interim-Champ, Mandatory

What ongoing investigation? Hearn said last night that there is no ongoing case and that UKAD will make no statement on the matter.

 

So Hearn said he isn’t being investigated yet you apparently 100% know he’s being investigated? Hired lawyers maybe so they can go through all the facts and put it together for all to see in the correct way.

 

Once the lawyers deal with the situation we’ll get a tidy statement from Whyte and an update on his current situation with BBBoC and the WBC to confirm his ability to box and his mandatory position with WBC once WBC remove suspension

Dont expect any results ad UKAD. And Whyte may wish to keep it confidential as it has been dealt with already.

When the statement comes out from Whyte after the dust has settled Davo is going to look like an idiot

But dont take my word for it... time will reveal all just be patient

If I was Whyte, or part of Matchroom for that matter, I'd want his name cleared. If this is never resolved, as it looks like it won't be from your account, then it'll always hang over Whyte.

 

Its strange because of how the media articles have leaked specific pieces of information, but it has been dealt with by an entire board of competent professionals that always keep these discussions highly confidential for legal reasons the public have no right whatsoever to dem any information

All the public need to know is if Whyte is free to box or banned as a result of the results management processes

Whyte’s main issue is clearing his name from a MEDIA PERSPECTIVE

Whyte can box next week if he wants too

 

I think, given how public everything is, and how invested people get with boxers (you are a brilliant example of that!) Whyte and Matchroom will want to try and clear Whyte's name as much as they can.

The legal stuff is one thing - but in the mind of many boxing fans, Whyte's name is tarnished and that's not good.

The technicalities obviously mean the public don't 'need to know' that much - but those technicalities won't alter this perception.

Whyte has worked really hard since the Joshua defeat, and it would be such a shame if his reputation takes a hit from this. I believe it already has unless he can somehow do more to prove his innocence if he is innocent

@Davo whats your relationship with UKAD for you to know they’re 100% investigating? You must be pretty big in the boxing game to have acquired this information?

If not, then I’d rather listen to Hearn who we know definitely does have some sort of relationship/contact with them unlike yourself.

 

Read the WBC bylaws regarding doping.

They say, in part, that Whyte would have to disclose at the rules meeting if he had taken any substance (including medicine) that might cause an adverse finding on a drug screen. And that local commissions are responsible for arranging drug screens and that any positive finding for a banned substance is a violation.

WBC rules and bylaws on anti-doping do not mention VADA at all and do not say anyone who pops positive in a test administered by another agency gets a free pass if they pass VADA testing but are caught by another agency.

It’s just not to be found.

Those bylaws do say a boxer cannot take any performance-enhancing or banned substance. Period.

Anyone engaging in a WBC-sanctioned contest has agreed to adhere to their rules. And those rules prohibit PEDs. They are well within their authority to enforce those rules.

DILLIAN WHYTE has had the defence for his failed Ukad drug test boosted by the confirmation all his Vada tests were clear.

The Brixton heavyweight passed all of the tests taken by the US-based Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency, before and after his July 20th points win over Oscar Rivas.
