Seriously doubt they ever fight but if there’s anyone I’d really want to see beat him it’s Usyk. Total annihialtion of the poor man’s psyche both before and during the fight.
When Breazel faced Joshua he looked like a stiff plodding punching bag. Im expecting Wilder to knock him out before the 7th
As much as I like Breazeale and have wanted this fight ever since he became mandatory I think him winning would really put a dampener on the idea of unifying. The hype for Joshua/Breazeale 2 wouldn't be the same for Joshua/Wilder. But then again that's only if Wilder ever stops ducking the fight, if he never has any intentions of taking the fight then Breazeale winning maybe the only chance we have of an undisputed champion any time soon. I'm torn but the ideal scenario for me would be Wilder getting dropped in an epic fight, struggling badly with DB but then his power comes and saves him late in the fight in a fight he was losing. He then realises he needs to cash out sooner rather than later and accepts the next offer from Hearn and DAZN. Unification fight is scheduled for later this year and Joshua then smashes Wilder into retirement.
If Breazeale wins it's game over for Wilder , even if Wilder wins a rematch . A Breazeale victory by SD or even worse another draw would really be the nail in the coffin for Wilder as a champion . WBC have already pulled Wilder one side for his comments about killing . The pressure is mounting on Wilder something he never does well when it's on . The pro Wilder fans have pretty much run out of things to say about Wilder and Wilder's comments about unifying the division are gone , Wilder is winding down and I predict an upset tomorrow .
An upset wouldn't shock me, Breazeale is dangerous. If it happens people will say with hindsight it was obvious Wilder was on the decline or ready to be taken with the struggle to beat a barely medically fit Ortiz and the robbery needed to keep his title vs a sub par Fury. So the signs are there that an upset, Wilder has looked vulnerable.
