B#####Scene is saying that Khabib Allakhverdiev is out of the Prescott with an injury. Terence Crawford, who was on the undercard, has agreed to step in.
So are they calling this an eliminator or something? :huh Prescott was supposed to be challenging for Allakhverdiev's belt. (undeserved, IMO) Prescott vs. Crawford should honestly be scheduled for 10 with both of them a couple of matches removed from earning an eliminator or direct shot.
Dan Rafael is saying that Top Rank is working on finalizing the fight and that it would be a 10 rounder. I'd assume that would mean no title, eliminator, etc. But I guess everything could change.
I'm not overly familiar with him and Prescott is a big step up. A ten rounder and not an eliminator of any sorts is more appropriate. Khabib is a solid guy and I was looking foward to the fight but I'm interested in seeing a prospect like Crawford and how he does against a decent vet like Prescott.
If this fight holds....pretty decent match-up. Crawford has some skill and was a siolid amatuer. Should be a fun watch.
