Taking into account Briedis has been 2 years out the ring, who takes this?

I think Opetaia, but not sure if he can do that to Breidis. Before Breidis fought Opetaia the first time he had only fought 3 rounds in two years. So it’s a similar scenario to now in that Breidis has been inactive for two years.

It’s just now Breidis is 2 years older. From the last fight he had success in the later rounds, so I think this’ll be a decision type fight.

Opetaia is probably my favourite fighter at the moment so I pick him by stoppage.
Briedis(Usyk's second best win after AJ) is elite and high class for sure, but old and his best days are behind him.

Briedis by KO/TKO, if he uses uppercuts well.

Briedis won the 2nd half of the 1st fight, thanks to his effective uppercuts.

Jai has to start a strong favourite given Briedis' age and inactivity but I just hope Briedis hasn't declined too much and he still has enough left to give Jai a real fight, especially considering how exciting the first fight was because I want to be entertained.

Watched Briedis interview, if he makes to the 6th round, I will give him credit

Yeah, he acted like he is just fighting for the money.

I never seen him so unmotivated. I guess inactivity got him

Breidis is a very under rated fighter and the only fighter so far to warrant a rematch with Usyk down to merit alone and not an enforced contract rematch. If I remember correctly Opetai had his jaw badly broken in the first fight and many were saying the fight should have been stopped. Breidis is now older and just as inactive but I would not be surprised if he was to beat the younger man this time . Surely this fight will be an interesting affair as well as fan friendly as long as it lasts.

Looks like Breidis is just cashing in, he knew a rematch would happen and he just been sitting waiting for it.

I'm sure he will wants to win but probably doesnt care that much if he doesn't.

I like Briedis a lot but I don’t think he even has a chance in this matchup. The guy is just here for the check, you can see it in his face.

How dare you call this a bs rematch FFS.

Fans have no class any more, this is a great fight, mega competitive and at the highest level.

We should be celebrating this fight not denigrating it FFS.

Good fight, Briedis could be dangerous in the first rounds but after that his age deceives him, Opetaia crushes him and wins by TKO...
