I think Briedis will win. By decision. But it's a close fight.

Hmm, competitive. Briedis looked a bit flat in his last fight so Glowacki could beat him, but if Briedis is on point he should outpoint Glow.

All depends on if Briedis has completely recovered from his injury and sorted out his issues with his trainer and training and I'm not particularly optimistic he has. If it's the best Briedis or at least a 80% one with two good hands then I think he'll win, but if the injured one who fought Gevor shows up Glowacki should start a strong favourite because that Briedis wasn't even 50% of his best

    Old post of mine

Like I said the other day, I saw a post on YT probably about a week ago saying that Briedis ''can't use his power because he has an injury'' and I just saw this one on there today.

''Briedis had a surgery on his wrist and is still recovering from that. Not sure why that is kept quiet. So pretty much he boxed Gevor one handed. But he has serious issues in his camp, that need addressing asap''

Apparently his longtime trainer who was meant to be very good and was very close with him left him after some dispute and he has been replaced by a couple of ***** trainers who aren't really qualified for the job.

And someone who trains with Briedis posted this on Reddit, too.

''I train with briedis and sadly his career is over. He ****ed up his relationship with his coach who was a huge part of his success and he lost his management. Now he is training with pretty ****ty coaches and even my friends who are better than me can easily do sparrings with him. He might hang around for a while, but not for long.''

    And this

Kleins held Briedis in a very tight schedule, briedis was kept conpletely isated from everyone. Kleins fed him, trained him non stop, he had a completely different attitude. Briedis’ new coach is not an authority for Briedis himself, briedis himself is pretty full of himself now, he talks back all the time, and there is also no tight schedule, so I wouldn’t call this professional boxing

Well, according to Kleins, Briedis' attitude changed after a fight with Huck. He also said this is the reason they don't work anymore. So not sure if that's a coach issue really.

And I just found this on Google

Craig's former coach Klein reveals that Mairi has refused to work due to his attitude

After winning Boxer Maira Brieza over Noel Gevor in the World Boxing Superstar Quarterfinals fight in their thoughts on the match shared by Brieza's former trainer Sandis Kleins. He also finds that Mairi is no longer working on the Sports Center.com website because, according to Klein, Boxer's attitude to his coach has changed. "2011 In the year we began to work, he was an ordinary guy ... "says Klein. But now it has changed.

Asked to evaluate the rally, in an interview with Sportacentrs.com, an experienced coach congratulates Mairi on victory, but does not hide: in his opinion, it was a fight, not a box. Klein emphasizes that he will not comment on the decisions of the judge, as it is not his competence, however, in evaluating the boxing performance, no mistakes have already been corrected after the Moscow fight with Brendon Delorje.

Former Coach, analyzing the Last Fighting Deer, lists a number of things that Mairim managed to show a better boxing. "Mairis jumps on top, heads up, he's sitting on jajb, but there's no sequel. Mairis works well with jab, but you're on the right hand. But the reason is already known to many - the good hand was hurt. So you can say that this He won the fight with jabb. I do not want to go too far because Maira's mistakes are being corrected by his coaches, "says Klein in a conversation with Sportacentrs.com.

None of the boxers have tried to beat the other, show the boxing IQ. According to the coach, it's possible that both did not really understand the other weaknesses.

After the fight, the opinions that Mairim's fighting fad disappeared is no longer in the eyes of the fire. What happened to Briedem, Klein does not comment, since both have not been in contact since July. However, an experienced trainer underlines that a lot can be affected by various factors in the last week before the fight - a family affair or just a problem with the stomach outlet. "I know that Mairim in America was definitely not easy," says Klein.

The coach admits that Maira wins the reward because he loves the box and wants to continue this sport in Latvia. However, both of their long-standing co-operation are now over, and Sandis Klein and Mairi Briedi are no longer working.

"He has settled with me, he has always been correct at all, but the attitude he was in 2011 when we began to work when he was a regular guy ... And he stayed after the fight against Huck. I did not like that," says Klein

After fighting with Huck, Boxer did not touch his coach for about a month, although Klein did not think he would have done anything wrong with him. The coach remembers the episodes in the interview how the Deer in the gym is not greeted with him, sitting at a restaurant in a car and asking for food to be taken out to him, because he did not want to go in and meet Klein, who was sitting there with his friends.

"I do not know what happened to him and why he became such a person. It's hard to work with such a chalume, especially if you have to constantly motivate an athlete. I'm really tired of it." Until then, everyone was in the fight against Huck Mair, We were a real team, everything was really a goat, with Hoo he was playing well, because Hux is really a "dirty" boxer. After that, everything changed, "says Klein.

It was patently obvious to me Briedis was carrying an injury against Noel he looked a mere shadow of himself and he was throwing the right sparingly and not with the same form or power whenever he did let it go.

For this fight Mairis is trained by Vasiliy Chernigov (his first trainer: https://www.instagram.com/chervasiliy). Most probably, it's he who's mentioned in your quote as a "...huge part of his success".
As reported, their relationship is wonderful now.

Great to hear, hopefully he's not carrying any injuries anymore and is firing on all cylinders again because he's a beast when he is and this is a superb match up.

    Usyk 0 0 0 0

    Briedis

    Glowacki

    Gassiev

    Hunter

All top quality fighters, all former world champions with the exception of Hunter who is clearly good enough to have won a world title at CW, and Usyk harvested all their zeros and in their backyards too.

Very good fight. I actually slightly favor the Glow over current Breidis now.
It's now for the full WBO beltby the way, as Glowacki has been upgraded to full champion. WBC belt on the line too.

Sweet, 2 belts on the line. And this fight absolutely should be for a world title. Briedis is ranked #1 at CW (Usyk is the champ) by the Ring Magazine and Glowacki is #4. And both are obviously former world champions and have only lost once a piece, to Usyk. Glowacki vs Vlasov could've been for a world title too as that was a quality match up.

Dorticos vs Tabiti on the undercard too.

Yunier ‘The KO Doctor’ Dorticos (23-1, 21 KOs) vows to bring fireworks to Latvia when he faces Andrew ‘Beast’ Tabiti (17-0, 13 KOs) in one of the two WBSS Semi-Finals at the Arena Riga in Riga on June 15.

Dorticos won a tough twelve round unanimous decision over Mateusz Masternak in his quarter-final. So far so good for the ambitious KO artist.

And being among the last four again this season means that the Cuban has the ultimate occasion of redeeming himself after last year’s semi-final defeat against Murat Gassiev, and reach the final for the Ali Trophy in the cruiserweight edition of the World Boxing Super Series.

    How has training been going?

“Training has been amazing and I have trained like never before.”

What have you learned from last year’s semi-final experience?

“It was an amazing experience that thought me a whole lot. Gassiev was a totally different fighter than what Tabiti is. The experience I gained in last year’s semi-final will definitely make the difference in the Season 2 semi-final this time around.”

What do you think of your opponent Tabiti?

“I respect any man who gets in a ring but Tabiti is in my way to the final and I will eliminate him at all cost.”

Do you have a message for him?

“Tabiti be prepared because what’s coming for you is pure fire!”

What can the fans in Riga expect to see from you?

“The fans in Riga can expect a show, I’m a prize fighter and I’m going to make sure they get their money’s worth and more. When ‘The KO Doctor’ goes in that ring it will be nothing but fireworks and excitement. I don’t come to run, I come to fight!”

What is your dream scenario for the fight?

“To knock Tabiti out of the ring!”

Have you been seeing or following the other divisions in the WBSS?

“Yes, both divisions are on fire. Inoue is impressive and so is Prograis.”

Who do you think you will face in the final?

“The final for the WBSS Season 2 will be Dorticos vs. Briedis, no doubt about that!”

The WBSS returns on June 15 with a sensational doubleheader at the Arena Riga in Riga, Latvia: Mairis Briedis vs Krzysztof Glowacki and Yunier Dorticos vs Andrew Tabiti for spots in the Cruiserweight Final for the Ali Trophy.

    Dorticos ready for Tabiti

Cuba’s Yunier Dorticos (23-1, 21 KOs) and USA’s Andrew Tabiti (17-0, 13 KOs) join Mairis Briedis & Krzysztof Glowacki when they continue their quest for the Ali Trophy in the 200lb division on June 15 at the Arena Riga in Riga, Latvia.

With the Judgement Day semi-finals taking place the same night the winners will go head-to-head after the battles have been settled.

Yunier Dorticos won a tough twelve round unanimous decision over Germany’s Mateusz Masternak in his quarter-final with scores of 116-112, 115-113 and 115-113. And Andrew Tabiti won a hard-fought decision by scores of 116-111, 115-112 and 114-113 over Russia’s Ruslan Fayfer to advance to the semi-final. Now the ‘KO doctor’ and ‘The Beast’ are about to clash in the Latvian capital

“It’s an honour and I’m extremely excited to fight in Riga, it’s a beautiful country with amazing people and culture,“ said Dorticos, the tournament No. 2 seed. “My game plan will be simple: Tabiti will learn why I’m called the ‘KO Doctor’. A doctor can operate at any level. It can be a quick procedure or a prolonged procedure. Regardless it will be very painfully for Tabiti.

“I can’t wait for the bell to ring because he’s an obstacle into the final and I will run him over like a train! I will win the semi-finals at all cost.”

The KO artist has the ultimate occasion of redeeming himself after last year’s semi-final defeat against Murat Gassiev.

“Once and for I will showcase why I’m the best and most exciting cruiserweight in the world to watch. To all the fans all over the world and to all the fans in Riga you can expect the best version of ‘The KO Doctor’. I’m bringing the fireworks on my fist and it will be a historic night in Riga!” said Dorticos.

“I’m looking forward to this fight in Riga,” said Tabiti, a rising star among legendary Floyd Mayweather’s promotion stable. “I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to prove I’m one of the best out there in my division since the beginning of my career. I believe this is the fight where I’ll show the world that I’m world champion material. My discipline and patience along with my boxing IQ make me confident that I will get the victory over Dorticos.”

Yeah I caught that. Should be a really good fight if Briedis is back to his best. And Glowacki always brings it and comes to throw bombs with mean intentions.

I’ve not seen tabiti fight, I know dorticos can bang but struggles with fighters like gassiev

If tabiti can bang then this should be a good scrap
