The McCloskey vs. Prescott fight was a blatant robbery. Prescott did not only throw the more meaningful shots but he also clearly outlanded McCloskey. If anyone had McCloskey winning can they please explain to me, HOW and on WHAT BASIS they had him winning the fight? Prescott“s straight right was a thing of beauty. He really impressed me last Saturday. McCloskey was...well...just how he always is. Slow with a very low punch output. He was just keeping his lands low, pretending he has amazing reflexes and then when he gets hit flush in the face, he starts acting like nothing happened with his nose bleeding out. :rofl I want to see Prescott vs. Khan II now.
Didn't score the fight but had prescott winning. Thought it was close though, you can't go into someones backyard and expect to tail of in final rounds like he did. I think he could be real threat if he got a proper conditioning coach involved. I wouldn't call it a robbery, but it was the wrong decision.
I sense an agenda here... Prescott's straight right was very good until he got tired and started pushing it.
I watched the fight and I had Prescott edging it, but it wasnt a blatent robbery. a rematch should be on the cards, but more likely Mcloskey will fight Maidana for the paper "regular" title
:good:good Exactly, the word robbery for these type of fights is bandied about far too much. Close fight, could have gone either way. Only surprising thing for me was that it was a UD.
