How about Prescott vs Miguel Huerta or Kid Diamond; someone along those lines? Can he succesfully step up to that level or not?
Let's get real hear - Prescott is COMPLETELY unproven, with a record littered with novices and nobodies. This is the ONLY reason I was slightly unsure whether he would starch Khan. Clearly he packs enough power to take out unknown fighters and glass jawed hype jobs. We'll see if he can do anything more that that.
I agree he deserves more credit. I've only seen this fight and the fight before so it is hard to gauge how good Prescott is. I did see a stylistic similarity between him and Tito but Tito has straighter punches and maybe its just that I would love another Tito to come into the picture. I wouldn't go as far as comparing him to Hearns though. I also think Khan is perhaps one of the most talented fighters but the talent is wasted by his recklessness. Khan should have used this fight to showcase his boxing skills. I guess he thought he could go in and trade off, thinking he'd have a second chance if he got outmuscled. Dude got smashed instead,
