Gotcha, That's what I was saying when I posted that pic of the other poster's avatar. I seen him with a pic of Roy Jones that had a glass jaw:nut Roy was solid for years. As I said nobody is talking boxing just trying to get back and rile each other up.

I don't care for titles. Just the man who beat the man or unification to create that linage. Khan had no obligation to fight Maidana imo. WBA has 3 titlist in each division:dead

Prescott is the man who created that outlook on Khan so why would he have to fight Maidana to prove he doesn't have the weakest chin in the world. To prove that he could have fought Prescott the second time and beat him. Beating the man who creates the myth beats the myth, no?

Ring Master, just answer me this, would you still ask for a Prescott rematch even if Khan goes on to beat Mayweather?

Because if your answer is Yes, then there is little point in talking to you :)

AS a fighter and as a fan I would want to avenge this defeat. Nobody is saying he has to fight Prescott right now. But if they oppurtunity is there why not take? I don't understand you guys... Even as a fan I would want to post the pics of Khan knocking out Prescott in everythread I see Rico glass jaw in.

couldnt of put it better myself!

This is the answer to the question of the prescott-khan rematch in one! thread over

Khan is well above prescott.. As far as im concerned he has avenged his knock out loss by beating an even bigger hitter, harder, world class opponent..

jog on prescott... its a backwards step and a waste of 6months for khan

Well I agree with you on titles and whatnot, just have to disagree with regards to Khan-Prescott at this stage.

I'm a Khan fan as well but that post is beyond idiotic. How has he done nothing?, beating Khan was nothing?. Still he beat Khan so that fight makes sense regardless of what he has done lately, he still holds that shocking brutal win.

Not necessarily, the "myth" is that Khan has a terrible chin.

That was proven false when he took the punches of Maidana.

Unless of course if your opinion is that the "myth" is that the only man that can beat Khan is Prescott.

Does Prescott punch harder than Maidana. No.

Is Khan tactically and physically improved from his defeat to Prescott. Yes.

Has Prescott done anything since to suggest his win was not a one-off, right place right time situation. No.

Are there better fights out there for Khan. Yes.

So, overall, this myth you talk of, for me is no longer a problem. Thus, Khan need not fight a clearly inferior opponent, when there is the chance to move on against genuinely world class opponents.

Maidana is a bigger, better version of Prescott.

In my eyes, Khan has no need to rematch Prescott and avenge that loss. He has already earned redemption.

"Prescott doesn't deserve it". Did Khan deserve a title shot at Kotelnik? Of course not, he lost to Prescott then beat ***an and a shot Barrera all at LW in his last 3 before getting a shot. So he deserves a title shot at LWW? **** no. If anything I'd say that Prescott has more of a case of fighting Khan now for a title than Khan did at the time for his shot at the belt he still holds purely based on the win he holds against Khan. Either way it makes no difference, guys get "undeserved" or "unearnt" title shots pretty much every month of the year all over the world. That's just the way boxing is now, so I'd never begrudge Prescott a shot at a title against a guy he KTFO only 2 years ago.

Having said that I don't see why Khan has to fight Prescott. It would do nothing for him in the US, although I can see why casual UK viewers would tune in. Khan is still known and remembered by a lot of people by that single KO, fair or not, and after seeing the way SBO spun gold from lead with Haye/Harrison I've no doubt they could do the same with Khan/Prescott. It would be a fight with no career advancement and as I feel he's proved his doubters wrong with his win against Maidana it's a fight he would only take for personal closure.

I'd rather he fought Bradley/Alexander next although that looks like it on for the summer. So if he's gonna fight in the UK before that in April I'd much rather he fought someone like Judah. His path, no matter love him or hate him is one that's going up and up. He has a chance to unify the division and be one of the biggest draws on the planet. For HIM the fight makes no sense especially after beating Maidana other than personally.

I will say this though, either fight Prescott next or forget him forever...........

This fight has to happen, plain and simple for Khan's career this win will erase all the haters and critics who are hanging on to this loss. It would sell BIG in the UK.
