YES! Thats the same Willie Limond that tortured Erik Morales for 6 rounds!!!

****ing hell these people are idiots Tommy.

    Khan has proven himself people.

The consensus was, Maidana would do to Khan what Prescott did to him.

Khan then beats Maidana, taking his best shots and remaining upright.

Following this, they now think Khan should fight, (drum roll) Breidis Prescott.

What they dont realise is that Khan's chin and tactics have improved, whereas Prescott remains one-dimensional, living off his one-off win.

Id much rather Khan fought Judah or Ortiz, I see them as a bigger test to Khan than Prescott.

Some of you people let your love/hate cloud your judgement. I dont say that because you think Prescott may beat Khan, I say it because you say he even deserves a chance to fight him. Prescott has done nothing since to warrant it.

    Lets face it;

If Khan had fought Prescott instead of Maidana, everyone would be going ****ing crazy carefully explaining the points I've just made about Prescott (Ie one dimensional etc) and discrediting Khan.

Time to give up the ghost and give credit where it's due.

Amir will say Maidana. Regardless, even if he says Prescott, which I doubt, James Toney once said Merqui Sosa and Iran Barkley hit harder than Sam Peter. You think that's true aswell?

Again, you've failed to answer the question. Does Willie Limond hit harder than Marcos Maidana?

The thing is, Bradley's just not a finisher at the highest level, so far.

When can we expect Niko's 'Sugar Axe II' collaboration album with Audley 'A-Force' Harrison?

Fair enough. But you could argue that Peterson, Witter, and Abregu have maybe better chins, and quite possibly better rates of recovery than Khan. Obviously we do not know that for sure, and it's clear Bradley isn't the best of finishers, but he certainly could hurt Khan, and he knows that maybe Khan does not have the best chin, so would not hesitate in finishing him off like he possibly could have done against other opponents he has hurt.

 Well, the Sugar Man's been busy for some time giving vocal lessons to Putin, so, that got a bit delayed. VP is SO demanding as a student!

But it all paid off, I'd say.

Time will tell, I guess. When I saw how effective his punches were on Abregu, I was quite surprised it went the distance. It seemed like if he just pressed it, he could've gone home early. :conf

Point is...it was not a single lucky shot....Khan was hit with multiple shots.....Khan is a world class fighter....Prescott is not.....does not take away the fact that Khan got dominated by him....certain styles make for interesting bouts.....Arturo Gatti was worlds above Micky Ward in terms of talent....but their styles made those bout what they were.....and just like Maidana vs Khan....the boxer vs the power punch (even if they are far apart in talent) can create interesting moments....and while you dont think Prescott is worthy....you will find many others in the UK that want to see it again....Khan is most likely going to fight in the UK next....so why take a hard opponent over there.....you know what Prescott does, so dont make the mistakes you made in both the Prescott and Maidana fight...and you will avenge a win, and sell a huge event in the UK.....Bradley, Alexander and judah sell well anywhere....Prescott sells really only in the UK....so if you are going there next, take care of some unfinished business.

Whoever he fights, Khan's next fight should be in the UK. Khan can easily fill an arena or stadium with 20-30,000 anywhere in the UK and at a decent time for most of his fans. He should only fight in America if its against a big name.

Lets not deny the blatantly obvious here.

Khan has a much better chin than first thought, but its still not Hagler standards, or anywhere near the same planet as that standard.

Why should Khan have to fight one banger after another with such obvious *****s in his armoury?

Schaefer mentioned Judah and Ortiz, decent tests for Khan in my view, and both quite highly rated.

I can see the benefits of beating Prescott no doubt, but theres proving yourself and putting yourself in the line of obvious fire.

Kevin Mitchell already beat Prescott in front of UK audiences. If Khan fought Prescott again, I'd say 9 times out of 10 he beats him, but if he happens to be tempting fate and gets caught flush and KO'd again, he's a write off at world level. It would officially be over.

I think people arguing for Khan to fight Prescott next are the exact same people who wanted to see him fight Maidana.

Why is that the case? Because they would like Khan to be knocked out. That's maybe not in your particular case, but definately the common consensus.

No she didn't, she said 'Tell that to Amir'. As far as I'm aware, Amir has come out and said nothing of the sort [that Prescott hit him harder than Maidana]. If he has, I'm sure it would have been posted all over this board. Feel free to go and find a quote if he has.

Again, the question is, seeing as Limond put Khan down and had him hurt more than Maidana, does that make him a harder puncher?
