Dunno why, but I'd still much rather see Khan-Prescott 2 than Khan-McCloskey. The Prescott rematch has such a great story to it. And, yes, Khan still needs to avenge that, if only for his own peace of mind.

He loses to prescot in a rematch imo... He lays back on the ropes because he thinks he can take prescot's shot, then bam we have a new world champ.

I don't think a Prescott fight would be as easy as people are suggesting. Khan seems to be obsessed with proving his chin; you all saw how pleased he was post-Maidana "chin this, chin that". His balls are too big for his chin.

He can't help it. If he fights with Prescott at some point in the fight he will stand and trade 100%

Why on Earth would Kahn think he can sit back and take Prescotts shots?

PRescott's power is way over-rated, kevin mitchell has said that and he thinks carl johansson hits harder. khan struggled to get down to 135 and even had to strip his boxers aswell at the weigh in

prescott is worse opponent than audley

Prescott would surely have a massive mental edge over Khan - he could easily play some mind games pre-fight, to entice Khan into a shootout.

Khan is also, usually the taller/bigger man in the ring - its easier to keep smaller fighters at the end of a jab. I could see him abandoning plan A (outbox BP, work off the jab) and go gungho.

Khan doesn't seem to be an super-intelligent fighter and his heart often overrules his head - once hes in the ring he'll be desperate to prove he can take BP's shots

Also the fact that BP has a round one KO over Khan surely means he is a worthy opponent no?

Prescott would be banged up and stopped inside four rounds.

    He's a journeyman.

Khan might as well fight Baz Carey again or call out someone on here. The difference in class is massive between the two...... he beat him, so what?

If the rematch was immediate fair enough, but Khan has knuckled down and sorted his career out, grabbed a title and beaten the likes of Kotelnik, Malignaggi and Maidana - three top 10 opponents.

Prescott was whipped by Mitchell. Enough said.

why doesnt Prescott fight some1 ranked in the top 10 if he reckons he's such a tough **** and thinks he can hang with khan, he thinks maidanas got nothing on him but maidana would torpedo him inside 2 rounds max

i agree prescott just wants a payday when he gets beat, he'll go back to fighting journeymen outside the top 50, khan needs experience at world level and prescott doesnt provide that
