Breidis Prescott Rips Amir Khan Over McCloskey Choice!

its a mis-match i agree, khan is several levels above now.

But it's hard to ignore that it would sell and if i was in Khan's position i would want to avenge my only defeat, when he looks back at his career no matter how well he has done that will haunt him.

 

What is with these knob heads that are obsessed over Prescott? These must be the type of people that think a loss is the end of the world.

Look, a revenge win is nice, but it has to have some type of context to it. There isn't at the moment, because the progress charts of these two look like a giant 'X' with Prescott on the line heading rapidly downwards. Beating him is absolutely worthless when Khan has just beaten Maidana and Prescott has lost to Kevin Mitchell of all people who came up badly short at world class. It has no meaning except to say 'Khan has beaten everybody he's ever faced' which is a stupid meaningless saying. He still has that defeat on his record and he always will, get the **** over it, how his career pans out will determine how the asterik mark next to that loss reads.

Besides, to point out the ****ing obvious here, Khan needs to get back in there against somebody with actual boxing ability because he's fighting Tim Bradley soon enough.

Prescott would probably rake in the most money for Khan - casuals would buy it, would be easy for Sky to market.

 

I would have liked to have seen a rematch. Would be good to wipe the slate clean and get a win over the limited Prescott.

Financially it makes alot of sense aswell. Easy fight to market.

 

i dont give khan much of a chance against brad but any chance khan might have will be seriously deminished if he fights some1 as **** as prescott for a tune up against my man.hell oisin ***an on his night would likely beat prescott

 

Prescott should **** off and beat someone relevant. He caught Khan with some good shots and finished him a couple of years ago. Look at the difference between them now. khan has won a world title and beaten some good opponents, Prescott has been beaten twice. He is a **** living off the fact that he beat Khan. He dosent deserve a shot at the title. **** him.

 

His power aint overrated, just that he swings too wide sometimes and shows you the power. Prescott was literally hitting Mitchell in the back at times in their fight.

I dont know how anyone could rule out the fact Prescott could hurt him again, he's already done it once. People can say Maidana did'nt hurt him, but John Mugabi never hurt Terry Norris, but Simon Brown, a small guy knocked him out.

 

Because he'll believe all this bull**** about his chin being solid and it was all ever due to draining himself.

He will want to prove a point as he did with maidana.

People need to stop banging on about prescot's power being overrated, he evidently has enough to knock out amir.

 

Hasn't bradley also confirmed that he and alexander are having a rematch?

So a fight with khan will be at the end of the year, plenty of time if he feels he needs to tune up.

 

I do actually think that Khan should fight him now.

I think the time is right and I think Khan would have a relitively easy night.

Having said that in boxing sometimes lightning does strike twice!!!

 

Who said that, coz whoever they are should go back and watch the fight again.
