Prescot will be fighting a man who has no fear of him, and who has his own ko power. Prescot showed no technique in his last fight, and has never fought anyone with speed. Prescot will be exposed.

Amir "fastest hands in the world" Khan?

although clearly amir khan doesnt have the fastest hands in the world, Roy Jones at heavy was faster than him.... still, hes faster than Valero n his worst day and Prescott nullifies speed very well, and like i s said some of those those performances were poor compared to what he can do when he tries.

:goodGood post. Styles make fights, but speed can alter any outcome. Valero is too smart a fighter for Prescot. Valero can box, and that is where fans who hate on Valero really underestimate his skills.

Khan and Prescot were both inexperienced when they faced each other. Somebody had to win, and Prescot won. Two untested fighters were going at it. Now Prescot is going up against a two division champ with speed and power. Size means nothing when you face a fighter with speed.

speed isnt everything, i have noticed improvements in Valeros technique but IMO hes still VERY raw coming forward, easily raw enough to be put away with a well timed counter.

Just like most of those Columbian fighters, they have power along with suspect boxing skills and questionable chins ... I don't think that Prescott is going to do the same thing that he did to Khan - to Valero.

Valero is much faster and his punches have more of a lasting effect than Khan's ... when Khan punches, its usually in combinations and non of them have much "mustard" on em when he throws ... he looks to break you down through accumulation of punishment.

Valero is alot different than that ... he doesn't back up ... he make sure he hits the target and all his punches have mean intensions on them.

Valero will come forward with jab and then look to land the straight left - right hook combination. His energy level is nothing like i'd ever seen before, he also has a high punch volume, when spells "danger" for any opponent - especially one like Prescott, who's never been pressured or never been backed up.

If Prescott shows any signs of weakness early, then he's as good as gone ...

Valero TKO mid to late rounds

A guy like Valero would get KO'd by an Andrade type. He has no defense and would get tagged so much.

So can Prescott lol. Anyone can be put away with a well timed counter. This can be said about every fighter. I doubt that it happens to Valero though. Anything is possible when a fighter has two arms.

Any momentum Prescott gained from the Khan knockout will be derailed badly. He is a ways off from challenging someone like Valero. Valero will let Prescott come in and catch him with his exceptional timing. Valero actually has to lure opponents in because when he hits them they start going back right away! No one can come forward after Valero hits them!

I appeciate Prescott for knocking the **** outta Khan but I don't see how he beats Valero. His punching power is still out there and his technique is decent at best. Unless he lands the perfect punch, I don't see it happening. I don't even think he has the uppercut needed to stop him to be honest.
