Very long commercial break by TeleCaribe. Much longer than a minute.

Something tells me we are seeing Theran vs. De Angel on tape-delay...

    Round 5

Hard and harrying right-hook sequence by Theran, just flapping that fist like a hummingbird's wing. De Angel ducks and bobs his way out and gets an approving nod from Theran. They circle together and bump heads, and get warned by the ref. Theran is sticking his right elbow out and pointing it upward toward the ceiling, a very odd defensive stance coming forward - maybe hoping that just leaving an obstacle hanging out there will deflect whatever De Angel throws to discourage his advance. De Angel isn't throwing much, just sticking a few jabs while nervously moving away and dipping either shoulder inward. Slow round overall.

    50-45 Theran

    Round 6

Stiff right jab to the face by Theran as he steps in and out at angles. High squared-up left jabs by De Angel miss. Weird combos by Theran, dropping jabs to the body while collapsing in atop De Angel and then climbing his way up the body with overhand shots. Theran is very loose and fluid in there, looking almost boneless. Not in a very controlled way, either. It's working for him, though. De Angel is doing nothing but slide back, paw a useless jab halfway to target, and throw ill-fated overhand rights about two thirds of the way. Theran gets an arm looped around behind De Angel's head and lets him go rather than pulling into a clinch. They shrug at each other. Every time they start throwing simultaneously it somehow doesn't manage to build into a meaningful exchange. Instead they just sort of pass one another by while missing, like strangers in the night. I think perhaps the two of them only brought five rounds worth of gas in their respective tanks.

    60-54 Theran

TeleCaribe uses for their theme music that same tune that HBO has for 24/7 and PPV hype pieces.

It lends an epic feel to what is really the pedestrian dregs of televised boxing. :yep

If there were Solo Boxeo, Boxeo Telemundo, ShoBox, FNF, and Boxeo De Primera (Argentine) on tonight - this would rank #6 on any fan's list of priorities.

    Round 1

Body shots traded, clinging tight. Cantero backs up and hops in place, then stabs forward with his left like a bayonet. Molina catches him and bangs the body. Wide hook and right hand up top from outside by Molina, soaring in and tying up. Pause. Molina's gloves need more tape. His corners sees to it. Time in. Hook to the body, right hand over the top by Molina. Wild fray, both throwing big shots but not landing cleanly. Cantero goes down. Slip, not a KD. Up. More trading.

    10-9 Molina

    Boxrec lists Molina as 34.

It doesn't have any detailed info for Cantero, but I swear he looks at least ten years Molina's senior.

    Round 2

Hooks landed by both. Molina is getting the better of it. Now Molina steps in and lays up against Cantero. They scrap toward the ropes, Molina burying his head in Cantero's chest and hacking and slashing away at his body. Cantero works in some nice right uppercuts while propped forward against the aggressor to get some leverage. Molina plays around a bit, moving his guard up and down at mid-range. Sharp 1-2 to the face by Molina, thrown past a Cantero jab. Molina ducks a right hand and they tie up, both tapping the body until a break is called. Another clinch right away, but they twist and pull and fight their way out of it. Both touching up the body. Cantero is getting fewer shots off.

    20-18 Molina

    Round 3

Molina opens up, pushing Cantero into a corner and raining down on him with punches until running out of room and winding up completely draped over him. Cantero weathers the storm and then opens up with his own sustained attack once the referee guides them back to the middle of the ring. Molina ducks down and headbutts Cantero in the bread basket, while throwing right hands at his sides. Cantero complains to the ref about being shoved back and billy-goated. Nice left hook by Molina coming up from a crouch. Cantero tries to land uppercuts as they lean together and have a sumo match. Molina is getting his arms up in the way and pushing back at Cantero, popping a few body shots. BLATANT rabbit punch by Molina, just before the bell.

    30-27 Molina

    Round 4

Cantero is having a good start to the round, ripping his arm free when they lean together and tangle up in half-clinches and bashing it down on Molina's neck or up into his face as an uppercut. Good first minute for Cantero. Molina now buries his head against Cantero's ribcage and starts to hook around blindly at whatever he can feel. Good clubbing shots by Cantero up close. Molina leaps up in place and hooks, blocked. Lots of shoving and boomeranging in the pocket. Cantero is getting the best of it all in terms of actual punches.

    10-9 Cantero

    39-37 Molina

    Round 5

Cantero's body is headbutted and rammed back to the ropes, as he tries to hammer down over the top with a right to the back of Molina's head and neck. Lots of wrestling back and forth, and uppercuts traded both ways. Molina is getting in some quick body combos and tagging Cantero with overhand rights when he straightens up. Cantero is diligently plugging away with hooks and uppercuts while grinding in, but not really getting a clean piece of Molina.

    49-46 Molina
