    Well, that's one way to put it i suppose, but RIP nonetheless, the word is used too often, but he is a genuine legend of the game

    Brendan was a massive name in British boxing. Somewhat of a legend.

    Man was a legend, brilliant teacher, for kids in the ring and for life too.

    Huge impact on boxing, and away from the bright lights also a huge impact on the local community.

    Incredible life and legacy for a guy who came over from Dublin at 18 with little success as an amateur. Made a living as a pro mixing it with the likes of Chris Finnegan, but obviously left his biggest mark as a maverick trainer.
