Condolences to the family, RIP Brendan. Thought Erroll Spence message was classy and speaks volumes for him. As many top boxers would not have remembered the name of their security guy when fighting abroad years back, let alone having left such an impression. Speak volumes for Brendan Tingle too. RIP.
Lovely touch from Spence, was 5 years since he fought in Sheffield and I bet the majority of fighters don’t even say hello to their security. @Mitch87 said Spence was unlikeable too! Got quite a few mates who support Sheffield United and say Tingle was a sound bloke.
Exactly. Shows how warm and attentive and genuine Brendan must have been in his job. With him being from Sheffield, closely involved at Sheff Utd as was Brook at the time, in many cases he would have not gave a toss about the opponent but clearly he did. I'm sure such remembrance from Spence is comfort to the family at this shitty time for them.
