Brett Rogers: "None Of Those Guys Will Ever Fight Me"

Rogers gets a hard time on here because he's a ****. He's a classless ****. His post fight interview, he made himself seem like a classless ***** and he should have been a little more appreciative that he even got a chance to fight the best fighter in the world. He should have been a little more respectful and gave Fedor credit rather than be a sore loser ***** about it.

He can't win them all and lost to the best fighter on the planet right now regardless of any sport. He should have been more respectful. Fedor trained just like he trained for that fight. He participated just like Rogers participated. In a sport, especially a combat sport between 2 athletes that have to fight each other, there should have been a mutual respect, but atleast Fedor knows how to act, he gave Rogers his due credit that he deserved. I'm not in no way saying Rogers should have kissed Fedor's ass, but he didn't have to be a *****.

As far as what Cain's done, he's another fighter that's pretty green. But IMO he's better than Rogers too. I don't think he's as big a hitter as Rogers, but workrate & toughness from Cain would break Rogers if they fought. I don't really like to use fighter A beating fighter B logic as a reason why one fighter is better or would beat another or connect it in some kind of way because MMA math will never make any sense. I think you can agree with that. Don't you think?

As a Fedor fanatic, I cannot wait to see more of Rogers. If he does well then great, however if he bombs I will simply attribute it to Fedor taking his heart away.

 

I don't see how being a dick makes him a bad fighter. Matt Hughes was great and a complete **** end.

 

Matt Hughes cleaned out a division and was the best champion MMA had at that point in time; Rogers beat one fighter of note.

 

All I'm saying is him being a dick has no bearing on his worth as a fighter.

 

I agree with you there. I was just trying to explain Hughes gets more of a pass because he is an untouchable all time great. Also Hughes never talked **** about his opponents or made excuses, they just don't like his lifestyle. Maybe it's just me being a shameless Hughes fan, but he never made an excuse, and never personally insulted opponents; maybe Serra, by Serra earned every bit of it and more.

I don't even think Rogers is a dick, he honestly just doesn't know better, he had fought one top fighter before Fedor and blew through him, he has no real understanding of what a typical fight against a top fighter should feel like.

 

He's had his first pro-camp before Fedor .
I dunno but with all things considered he impressed me a lot. You comparing him to Kimbo is ridiculous.
