Ah that makes sense! I dunno, Wlad seems to enjoy slowly beating the snot out of his opponents. I think it does more damage than if he just winged a one-punch knockout, and while being what people call "boring", it sure seems to mess with careers.
Oh dear I think you will find at the time Wlad called him out in the ring Haye was getting ready for the interview with Wlads big brother on RTL. Remember, big bro was trying to get in there to save lil bro. Get your facts right next time before you talk ****.
Haye was standing three feet away just outside of the camera when (I think it was Jim Lampley standing with Lennox Lewis) told the TV audience Haye's right here but I guess he doesn't want to talk with us. Then Haye started singing Lynyrd Skynyrd You're too sensitve. Making a joke is not talking **** you should ask you self why you take this so personally Hmmm? :think
Lampley says something like "We have David Haye standing right next to Lennox Lewis just outside of the camera" Then Lampley motions Haye toward the microphone and it's obvious the loud mouth trash talkin Haye had nothing to say.
Im pretty sure Lennox was trying to get Haye on but Lampley wouldnt let him. Thats how it was reported at the time.
Davaryll Williamson is a very hard Puncher and Wlad was out of balance. Since this fight Wlad improved his balance and skills. I do not understand why some of you did not mentioned it. Wlad learnd and today he had a much better balance and defense. Wlad was never knockout in his career. He had 3 losses by TKO. Every time he stepped up. And Wlad never quit. He has great heart and shows this in his fights (also the fights he lost).
TOS certainly didn't catch Wlad flat footed. He caught Wlad completely overextended and off balance. Wlad was almost standing on one foot at the time, with all of his weight on his front foot, his body leaning, and simply fell back off balance. His knee touched the canvas for all of 1/4 of a second. Hell even TOS said himself that he simply caught him off balance. [yt]RylOgj0KtqY[/yt] If you also recall, Wlad went right after TOS and beat the living **** out of him for the rest of the round.
No. He is disputing the severity of the 'punishment'. If you read the thread you would know someone claimed Wald was 'on ***** street'. Next someone says they caught him flat footed. Again, not the facts according to Widow. Yeah, it was a knockdown by the rules. No way around that.
:huh How did you get that from what he wrote? He clearly said it was an off balance knockdown. Oh, and he also said that Wladimir jumped right up & beat TOS around the ring for the rest of the round.................in case you missed that part.
It was Flatlander that said TOS had Wlad on ***** street............which is total & utter bull****. Flats is just pissed off that his favorite fighter Chris Byrd was spanked badly TWICE by Dr. Steelhammer.
