    Sorry for the misreport

Its still a good win. Sprott is the bers of the journeyemn, and sometimes gets good upsets like he did agaisnt Audley and Danny Williams. It ain't beating a top ten guy, but in the overall scehem of things its a good second comeback fight.

Brewster v.s Valuev would be a boring match.. but hey its better then another Ruiz fight.
Chagaev and Brewster would be a good match up !

He didn't show much last night. He showed he can punch hard and has some handspeed. That was virtually it.

He really struggled to cut down the ring effectively on Sprott. His work-rate was not very high, and he was noticeably struggling in rounds 6-8 for energy. It's a long long way back up title contention from this performance, but maybe workable if he gets in better shape.

Sprott was a bit disapointing considering this was a chance against a big name. He just jabbed and moved. You could count the power punches he thew on one hand.

Brewster can still hang in there with any heavy who is not fast on his feet.... however, a moving heavy will give him more than he can handle..... his handspeed and power are still there, but his workrate and footspeed are at an all time low. Looks SO stuck in the mud.

Good win for Brewster but I personally would have went with a softer touch for Lamon as Sprott is a cagey fighter who has been in there with enough solid opponents for him to find a way to last a mere 8 rounds. If you're looking to come back and make a real impact, knocking out a lesser opponent probably looks better than earning a workmanlike victory over a guy like Sprott. Neither would raise a fighter's profile much but a stoppage would tend to have a little more luster even if it came against a can. Either way, Lamon got some rounds in so it's ok. That being said, I still think he should retire cuz of his eye and the fact that he's taken way too many punches over the years.

This was a good win for Brewster considering the circumstances. Its his second fight since the Lyakovich and Wlad fights. Sprott is a solid journeyman and Brewster took it on short notice so overall it was a good win. Give him another fight or two like this and then I'd like to see him have a cash out fight or two.

Brewster is finished... Couldnt even get the atg sprott outta there..the guys trying to cash in another big fight for his massive family before he is done for good. He shouldve retired after the wlad fight, per there is nothing left.

i enjoyed the fight , and thought Sprott came out of the fight more surrounded in glory than Brewster, Sprott is no more than a run of the mill British trailhorse and Brewster is supposed to be a solid world class pro. I thought Sprott did more than hold his own and make a decent go of the fight........

Good for Brewster, he needs to stay active and by doing this he'll be in line for a title in no time.

It was a good win for Brewster. I think that he could be a part of some really good fights in the near future. Sprott was in a safety first mode for the first 7 rounds. It was partically the reason it was not such exciting.
