Wants a warm fight and then Joe Mesi followed by Wlad.

Don't know why he would target Wlad again considering he quit in the last one.

Joe Mesi however is a good target to go after and would garner some interest.

I'm looking forward to Brewsters return, I just hope he brings his warrior mentallity into the ring with him this time, and he's ready to go to war with his oppenents again.

From what I saw in the Wlad fight, Brewster doesn't have much left. I don't think a whole lot of Joe Mesi, but I think he beats this version of Brewster.

I guess if Lamon looks good in his "warm up" fight, I'll give it some more thought. But given his injuries and the wars he has been in, I would hope Brewster has enough money to stop fighting.

Mesi called out Brewster on Friday Night Fights last week, so this isn't surprising.

Brewster is exactly the same that he has always been. The only difference in Wlad vs Brewster I and II, is that Wlad didn't collapse from within in the second fight. Wlad was better, and Brewster stayed the same. Brewster will always have a great chin, very good power, and a shitload of heart. However, he has nothing that can beat Wlad, if Wlad doesn't beat himself.

Brewster vs Mesi could be interesting.

If u want to see Mesi killed it would be. Lamon would just to have his huge left hook and Mesi would be done. Mesi is completely out of his mind. i am a fan of Brewster cause he has so much heart and displays tremendous sportsmanship but he needs to stay away from Wlad. Other than that, he can be competitive with everyone else.

He should take on "classy" :-( David Haye and give him a proper welcome to the hw division.

 That would be a disaster for Haye to face someone like Brewster.

    Why?
Just keep punching him in the eye. I really don't think it can take much more.

I like Brewster's style but he's taken too much over the years. Even when you put Wlad's punches to one side, Brewster was always a got that took three shots to land one. Meehan broke his jaw, Krasniqi and Liakhovich pounded him...it's just not worth it, Lamon.

Exactly. Wlad has dominated Brewster 90% of the time they have been in the ring together. There is no reason for a third fight.

I like Lamon, I really do. He should continue fighting and fight everyone in the division except Wlad.

Payday. Pure and simple. I love Brewster, but even he has to know there's no sense in pursuing another rematch. That'd make as much sense as Byrd-Wlad III.

Brewster only knows one style, his defense is his head, the man in his prime was not afraid to take a few to land a few, he had the power to keep in fights that he was losing, like against Krasniqi and Meheen, or the all out power to take guys out early like with Wlad and Golota. Brewster was a true American warrior, Buddy tried training him to take less punishment by trying to help him with head movement and wanting to box more in fights, which didnt help him out at all against Wlad, where he needed to come into that fight more aggresive and ready to take shots to give them.

Brewster is not the same fighter he once was, Brewster said in many interviews that he refuses to take the punishment he has in the past, he wants to around for his children. While this great if you want to retire, but fighting wars is all Brewster knows, and the only type of fight he could win against the top competition in the heavyweight division.

Same for Peter. So it's only a matter of time before he gets ended imo. U can't let powerful hws put your hands on u like that.

When Peter fought Wlad, he would eat straight rights and shake his head early in the fight. But he wasnt doing that in last couple of rounds though. He was bleeding, swelling, and doing the chicken dance :rofl

Maybe Peter should try to avoid big punches instead of walking into them :think

I think Peter is learning and getting to be a better boxer, he's only 27, Wlad was getting knocked out by Sanders at 27. Peter will get better and better each time out, I think you will Peter at his best come saturday night.:yep
