Brewster-Mesi is an intriguing match-up. They're both guys who a lot of people think are damaged-fighters who can't compete in the upper tiers of the division at this stage, and a match between the two would be a good cross-roads, leaving the winner (potentially, if it wasn't a snorefest or anything) with somewhat-restored credibility.
If Brewster takes a tune-up, and is in good shape he should beat Mesi and badly. Brewster is a tough mother, who can crack (ask golota) Mesi is gaining in confidence in regards to his chin and head issues etc but Brewster is the wrong dude for Mesi to test himself out against at that level. IMO
For the rubber match with Klitschko Brewster should make one necessary adjustment - he should come into the ring with a stool permanently attached to his butt with a pair of braces.
Brew can still beat Mesi, who ought not to be fighting. Man, I am a big Brewster guy. I have said it before and will say it again- When Ruiz and Byrd were stinking it up, and VitKlit wasn't doing much of anything, Brewster was having and exciting, credible reighn. But I don't want him to get hurt. If he is not in shape to fight, then he should find something else to do.
