I would love to see Tua/Brewster, it almost happend too if Tua wouldnt of declined Brewsters offer in early part of 07. Tua who has been very active lately and is looking for a step up in competition, on the other end you have Brewster who just suffered his most devastating lose of his career against Wlad this past july. I feel this fight would be an all out slugfest that would give the heavywieght division a good fight for a change like the one Brewster had against Liakhovich in april of 06, this fight would be a good fight to propel either fighter to a possible title shot. I see Brewster probably losing in this competitve slugfest, Im guessing an 8th round TKO in favor of Tua.
Interesting fight. Tua is clearly not what he was, but Brewster wasn't as good as Tua when they were both at their best, and he's declined even more than Tua has. If they were to meet right now, I'd say Tua knocks Brewster out, somewhere around round 6 or 7.
Honestly, if Brewster is doing alright financially, I would much rather see him retire now, than fight Tua. If Tua comes to fight, in good shape, Brewster will get knocked out brutally, and I don't need to see it to know it.
Lamon messaged me back on myspace and told me that he will return later this year or early next year, he told me hes trying to get his head back in the game.
