    Lucky Boy vs El Boxi...

Think I've got to give the edge to Wale in terms of the nickname category.

    Round 1 Castano 10-9

Speed kills, Omotoso isn't seeing the fifth round tonight.

    Round 1

    10-9 Castaño

BCC applies educated pressure behind the jab and lands a couple right hands. Wale seems content to probe with the jab and wait for openings to appear for power shots.

Yikes. Corner might want to consider not letting Omotoso answer the bell too many times more, if this script doesn't get altered in a hurry..

I really don't want to see the iron-chinned warrior lose his zero in the stoppage loss column ...but I also don't want to see him get brain damaged.

    Round 2

    10-9 Castaño

The fight breaks out in earnest as Castaño starts to let his hands go in combination as he drives Omotoso to the ropes. Wale fires back with some venom, but Brian isn't allowing himself to get tagged with anything huge while landing clean to the body and getting some business done upstairs with the right.

    Round 3

    10-9 Castaño

Wale actually boxes pretty well for the first two minutes, circling and doubling up on the jab when it's available. The Brian takes over and lights him up with combinations, rattling Omotoso with a couple of hooks and then putting him on pins and needles a couple of times with some more volleys. Don't see this going 10.

If you want to go long with Castaño, you'd better make sure you're crafty and/or slick (like Soro and Lara). Omotoso is neither. He's a slugger who relies on his above-average power and extremely good chin (which, ironically, explains the one professional knockdown he suffered, a seemingly ignominious one against hard-hitting journeyman Calvin Odom; they had an intense firefight because Omotoso knows just that single way of fighting, and he ultimately came out victorious) - which is a suicide mission here, unless he can miraculously plant something on the button.

    40-36 Castaño

More of same, though Wale did well to avoid getting tagged with anything really huge.
