Don't think Spence should take this after coming off a brutal loss.

brian is stronger than spence... he hits harder and has a better chin... spence is a 147 pound fighter, not 154... that's why he shouldn't fight at that weight because he wouldn't be great at that weight

Would be a fun fight, but a dangerous one for Spence. We know he can't fight backing up, so he's have to stand his ground and trade with Castano. He's better technically and more skilled than Castano though, he might be able to impose his style on Castano and simply out work him and grind him down.

But would you really want such a tough first fight at 154, especially after the thrashing he just took from Crawford? If he moves up and doesn't take the rematch I'd expect a much easier first opponent to just rebuild his confidence before throwing him in the fire again.

That would be a bad decision for Spence and his team. Castano is no tuneup fight.

    That's a good fight.

I don't see Spence being any better than Gausha level at 154 though. Crawford beat Spence up and most of the top guys at 154 hit harder than Crawford.

If he can't beat Gausha he's not going to do anything at 154. Fundora coming off a loss could be another guy to look at. He wouldn't bust a grape so Errol could at least get into that fight.
