Finally found this on you tube having thought that I would never get to see it.

Ingo wisely retired after this. His version was that he was winning the fight, he even classed it as one of his better wins even though he said it looked terrible that the bell went with him “hanging in the ropes like that”.

Brian London fans have always said that London knocked ingo clean-out completely or that the bell was rang early to prevent London finishing Johansson off.

This is only a small clip, I don’t trust the audio, but it appears to be a full unedited 3 minutes until the bell where Ingo is getting up. I must say I was expecting to see Johanson “out cold”. Truly out for the count. Not so. I doubt He could have continued if it happened earlier in the round.

However (without seeing the rest of the fight) it appears Ingos version seems the closest to the truth.

In fairness to London, Ingo looks tired, he’s not dominating at all and even looks flustered. Hes trying to coast the round out, where as Brian is being a nuisance, keeping the pressure on. The punch looks a bit of a freak shot. I don’t think it was planned. Brian just dove in just as Ingo comes off the ropes the wrong way.

    Fascinating stuff!

    What are your thoughts?

Apparently so, from what I've read about it. It was literally the last minute where things got interesting.

Looks like a UK Calzaghe type stoppage. Ingo was hurt, but looked like he could have continued.
It was a very good shot, though; caught him flush as he bounced off the ropes.

Ingo's jab looked very weak...hardly kept London off him.

Yeah, Ingo looked weak as a kitten. Just pushing his punches out. He’s running on empty here.

Yes the rebound factor definitely added some pop to Brian’s punch.
