London was tough and rugged, but AJ outguns him in every department. Too big, too strong, too fast and too powerful.
I can remember as a nipper, watching Joe Bugner handing him an early round stoppage which I think was his last fight. He must have had the best part of 20 losses in his career. As Furey said, a tough, rough house of a man, brave too, but up against Jerry Quarry, Patterson, Cooper X 3, he was always going to be on the rough end of things.
London was extremely game and would fight anyone anywhere. He was also a fiery character his dad was ex British heavyweight champion, and they were probably more suited to fighting in the street as this shows! https://youtu.be/SCr519cSQvw
