Brian Magee odds on to defend in Denmark before targeting Kessler

its a fair point. was maybe something he could have done a few years ago.

For me him taking Groves undefeated record or basically finishing DeGales career would do more for his legacy than going to Denmark to lose every round...all be it bravley....to Kessler.

 

And, no disrespect to Magee, his talent at world level means he could lose the title at any time. Its no wonder at that age he wants paying well before he loses and/ or retires.

I think hes addicted to Denmark. Hes known there for destroying Mads Larsen in a big TV re-launch and I think hes gona try and milk them again

They paid him like £280,000 to fight Larsen! In Denmark, without international TV:huh:-(

In that case he's right to look at pursuing a fight with Kessler if at all possible.

If it happened it would be interesting to find out from him who of the three he faced was the best - Bute, Froch and Kessler.

 

The overall purse was £270k. I'm not sure what cut Magee got.
