Interestingly the last guy to beat Aramian got stopped by Sartison two fights later for the WBA title.

You guys gotta get out more.

It means it the obvious issue that everyone is ignoring.

In truth B-Gee had too much to lose to be giving away a 50-50 purse to P-Smitz

It wouldnt have got him any closer to his goal and their too much risk without enough reward.

Duck isnt the word I would use. It would be like saying Paul Smith is ducking Carl Dilks.

It's nothing like that mate. Maybe not duck, but when the fight did not get confirmed, i must admit, i was expecting him to be involved in something bigger than a defence of the euro against an "opponent"

    Its exactly like that.

he is involved in something bigger than than Smigga offers - thats a European title fight. That fight also leads directly in his next fight to a shot at the WBA title.

Whats the point in going back to face the British champion if you have that infront of you?

hhhhmmm Magee pretty much ducked Paul Smith. If he has beat him, warren would of got him a title shot.

they were looking to put both titles on the line though weren't they?? It's not as if magee was stepping up himself to fight for the euro, he is the holder!!
When you say what's the point in going back, Smigga would have been quite close to being in line for a shot at the euro, so it's not as if he would have been doing Smigga a favour in fighting him for both titles, Smigga would have fought himself into contention for a shot.
Fwank said b4 the dodson fight that either man could possibly go on to fight magee for the euro title, so it's not as if the idea hadn't been mooted previously.
I am sorry, but everything that has happened to me smacks of Magee not wanting it

the fight would have been for the British and European title, a big domestic showdown which would sell 8,000 tickets in Ireland or Liverpool. Smith is ranked top 10 by the WBC and WBO it could have been made an eliminator.

Magee is fighting a routine defence, probably beign paid less than Warren offered in the fight that will recieve less media intrest.

the fight doesnt lead to a WBA title fight as his opponent isnt ranked by the WBA.
