he should make the weight alright he went up to light heavy and said he prefered fighting at 168 as it was his best weight
Anyone seen a recent Larsen fight? I have no idea what level he is at currently...I'm guessing hes not at his best. I'm confident Magee can beat him. It'll be a close fight I reckon
This is great news for Magee..his career was stalling over last 8 months so this is fantastic news and may grant him a shot if he wins at the WBO Title.

this is a good fight but i wouldnt get too exctied yet about magee winning, larsen is a good fighter, who got ****ed by a promoter that wrecked his career. he is real hungry and brian is gonna have to bring everything hes got to win. speaking of the weight, i saw magee out one night in a pub in belfast, he looked huge! it wasnt fat either he looked stacked. im about 6' ft and 13 bit stone and he was way bigger than me
Magge looked too small at light heavy so will hopefully still make 168 and be able to fight. To be honest I want to see him beat Smith and Quigley so we can have a class British champion again but if he can get a Euro title shot then he should take it. Mads is decent but Magee can take this on decision.
He stepped aside to let Quigley fight for the title I believe, then Quigley never returned the favour. I hope he wins this, but from what I've heard (haven't seen much if any of Laursen) its a real tough fight.
