Alright, ring introductions are over. Jaime Barboza getting a nice warm reception. Very loud. Here we are round 1 starting up.
Barboza circiling to his right. Throws a right hand from far out, clinches. Barboza circling to his right, dropping back. Magee pressing forward. Neither fighter jabbing, Barboza swings a lopping right and misses. They clinch again. Barboza throwing one punch and clinching. Magee pressing forward, no jab from him, Barboza in close, and they clinch. Both do a little to nothing in the clinch. Barboza comes in AND big left hand by Magee buckles Barboza's legs. That counter won him the round.
Round 2 starts off the same as round 1. Barboza circling to the right. Throwing a right hand and looks to clinch. Magee pressing forward not doing much. Barboza continues to circle to his right, Magee pins him against the ropes for a moment throws a 3 punch combo. Not much damage done;nothing clean. Barboza clinches. Circles to his right, fires a right, Magee looks to counter, but misses. Clinch again. Magee now fires a couple of jabs. Magee looking to throw more punches now. Barboza is content to circle to the right and pot shot with the right hand and hold close.
We have a delay in the action to start round 3. A neutral corner's rope I guess has come loose. So, huh, I guess they are trying to fix it. Not sure how the hell that happened. Very poor ring work. Ok, yea here is a nice camera angle the bottom rope on the side closest to the TV brodcast is very low. That is definitely not safe. Makes you wonder if the other top ropes are tightly put together.
