The wba is a ****ing joke.

  3. He's fighting Sartison next who I thought was the WBA champion. Obviously not the real WBA champion because that would be Andre Ward. So Magee is the Interim pretend WBA champion and wants to fight for the actual pretend WBA championship of the world?

Sartison was changed from regular champion to champion in recess at some point, Balszay then picked up the regular title and they gave Magee an interim belt too just for a laugh. So they all have to fight each other except for Ward who's the real champion. It's a joke.

  6. The WBA should have it's own Super Six, featuring all 6 of it's super middleweight champions.

I dont blame Magee. He is in an odd place really. Hes below the top boys but above many other decent fighters. If you look at The Rings SMW ratings #s 5-10 Magee has a accomplished more at SMW than those fighters.

Magee against Balzsay is a good tough fight. Balzsay was ahead against Steiglitz before he gassed.

If you take away the bollocks title Magee-Balzsay is a good cross roads fight, the winner moves into genuine contention. Shame this fight is what the European Title is all about instead it will be for a BS fabricated World Title.

Balzsay is a decent figher, I like him. His fight against Denis inkin was an entertaining, technical affair, as was his fight with Kashtanov.

I think Sartison will probably beat Balzsay, but it will be close. Magee would have a good chance, I'd slightly favour Karoly to beat him though.

He doesn't want to try for 3-0 in Denmark?

Honestly, can you blame him for wanting Balszay instead of Kessler - especially where it means a title either way? (assuming Kessler wrests one from Stieglitz, and Balszay successfully defends his against Sartison)

Brian has paid his dues. He can choose his path. It may not be the path of glory, but if he can win a world title by beating any man that currently has one then fair enough. He'll have already exceeded the level most had him capped off at.

So the WBA has 4 champs? Don't know weather to  or :|

Decent fight if you take the belts out of the equation though.
