Is there any way a man whose losest weight in his career is 205 could make 200? How would he do against cruiserweights if he was able to make weight?
Brian Minto gained my ****ing respect yesterday he wasn't afraid of Fatboy Arreola in the least, he was slightly outboxing him even though he gave up age, weight, reach, and height, and he even stumbled, arreola against the ropes for a second, Arreola is mentally a dead fighter, I figured he would come in like 225 or something, but to come in heavier then the fight against Klit is just unforgiveable. Minto the lil mother****er had heart in spades.
Minto can absolutely get down to cruiserweight (maybe light heavy) and IMO that is the way for him to extend his boxing career.
Taking 57% of the opponent's power punches in the whole fight is the same as 'slightly' outboxing him? He caught Arreola with a couple of nice shots and paid the bill with a swollen eye, two knockdowns and several wobblings. Indeed, he showed plenty of heart, but he was simply rolled over by the better fighter no matter how fat, big or whatever Arreola was.
