Brian Mitchell was very good at avoiding getting into exchanges. He had good footwork, special awareness and liked to end his combos with a jab to get back at his preferred distance. I see him keeping Boza off-balance just enough and not getting into extended exchanges and making it more of a boxing match. He’s not going to war like Bobby Chacon. Mitchell had incredible endurance, discipline and mental toughness. He defended his title for years without ever fighting on home turf (as the WBA wasn’t allowing title fights in his native South Africa) and despite that AND not being a big puncher he still went undefeated (with a few draws) in his last 40-plus fights. He’s wildly underrated and I like him in this matchup to dictate terms enough to win a competitive decision.
Boza W 12 The 1981 version that out fought Limon and stopped Chacon used his physical advantages well. He'd keep Mitchell at the end of his shots and counter. He could also effectively lead.
