How do you see this fun scrap go? Mitchell was a great technician who can slip very well in the pocket but would he be able to withstand the power of Chico?

    Tough call.
Chico at 130 was such a force. At 6ft tall Corrales dwarfed his opponents but oddly he was more comfortable at midrange or even inside. His hooks were short and powerful.

I had the privilege of seeing Brian Mitchell when he came to Sacramento to fight Tony López twice. Very impressive display of boxing skills, defense by Mitchell. He didn't have a big punch but he might have been the best Jr Lightweight in the world including Azumah Nelson.

I would bet that Mitchell takes the decision. Too smart of a fighter.

Huge Mitchell fan and his one true strength would be Corrales undoing.
Mitchell could adapt and Corrales could not although Corrales has an edge in punching power and that of course could turn the fight.
And Mitchell fought in 15 rounders and he was just as strong in the last round as he was in the first.
And people forget and overlook that Mitchell fought all over the townships which had insanely talented boxers.
This would be a very good fight and Mitchell would definitely be bothered by the reach and height of Diego and the power.

I liked Brian Mitchell very skillful and has a very pleasing technical style to watch my issue is his opposition apart from his two fights with Tony Lopez was forgettable.

Despite Mitchell clearly beating Lopez in both fights they were still competitive in the 8-4/7-5 range. So that's the only real evidence we have of Mitchell against a real notable name.

So it's hard for me to pick Mitchell when Corrales is so much bigger and more proven against higher quality opposition.
