Brian Nielsen: Anything left?

    A Danish friend sent me this clip..

    Although Brian must be about 50 now he still looks pretty precise and fast.

    Compared to the current scene could he make some noise at 50?

    He couldnt make any "noise" when he was 20, when he was 30, when he was 40...I dont see why he could make any noise now.

    He has a record thats more padded than my mattress.

    Even at only 45, he looked horrible vs Holyfield, and lord knows he aint getting better.

    If he gets dropped by an ancient Evander Holyfield, I guess his glory years are clearly over. But in this era there aren't too many great HW's so he can still make some decent money.
    I recently stopped caring about that old folk chosing the boxing ring above a retirement home. As long as they don't try to get big fights by shouting around I'm fine with it.
