I think Sasaki sucks even though he's one of my favorites. Hiraoka on the other hand....

Haven't seen Norman but I'll check him out.

Another good fight to look forward to. I do think Norman should win this quite clearly. Jin Sasaki is pretty one dimensional and only has power going for him. Fun to watch but very flawed fighter. I’m sure it’ll be a good fight but I just see Norman teeing off on him and using his aggression against him. Might be similar to the Santillan fight IMO.

Could see this one swinging either way honestly. Both are pretty heavy handed and have their limitations. Gun to my head, I might go with Norman right now, but I feel like this is the type of fight that I'll be changing my mind about weekly, then daily in fight week, then hourly on fight day. Maybe even every round too

so there's not been a single japanese world champion ever at welterweight, man that's embarrassing!

It is a weird gap. Japan has had multiple world champions at 135, 140, 154, and 160 but due to timing or luck or whatever, no one has won while they were at 147.

So Ennis is wasting career waiting to unify. It seems all the other belt holders have no interest

I can't pick the Japanese E twink to win this, I'm going Norman.

If he can't get Eddie to pay up enough to convince them, might as well either move up or if not then take care of his two mandos while waiting. Norman would likely win pretty easily and could be available this fall/winter.

Rooting for Sasaki. I barely pay attention to active boxing at the moment because life is busy but I'm glad to see he's still doing well.
