    No robbery. Maciel hit gloves and air for most of the first half of the fight and was very inaccurate throughout and gassed out trying to take rose out. When Rose landed he landed cleanly and clearly, although lacking some power he was landing plenty of clean shots. I had it 115-113 but wouldn't have argued a draw.

    Just re watched the fight and Rose took some punishment in the first 8 rounds, The commentary is over the top with "his missing all the punches" Maciel landed plenty of uppercuts and body shots. I scored it 7-1 after 8 and 8-4 after 12. Maciel shot his load in the 8th trying to finish.

    If that was Rose delivering the offense in the first 8 rounds, the commentary would have praised Rose and said what a dominating job he is doing. The fight went exactly how i thought it would go except Rose proved a lot more tougher than i thought he would be. poor decision IMO.

    I've never quite had the guts to mute a live fight (done it rescoring fights plenty), but this Nick Halling mofo has pushed me to the absolute brink.

    Oh for a red button option providing atmosphere without commentary!

    Slight exaggeration, but listening to Halling last night would make you believe that Maciel didn't land anything and that Rose landed everything. Horrible commentary.

    I was there and thought Marciel won by at least 4 points. Rose didn't throw enough to win the fight. Rose did block a fair few punchers, but body shots and uppercuts were landing consistently. I spoke to a lot of people after the fight (people I was with and other fans who sat near me) and not one person scored it for Rose and they were rooting for him being the British fighter.

    The crowd cheered everytime Rose had a slight bit of success but imagine how loud it would have been if they cheered for every bit of success that Marciel had?

    I also agree with a previous poster R.E. Nick Halling, the man (along with Jim Watt, but he isn't AS bad) is THEE most biased commentator i have ever seen. Blatantly roots for the British fighter and somehow his biased commentary sways the opinion of the fans watching at home and they end up agreeing with him.

    Top post, i'm not having a go at the people who thought Rose would but i just don't understand how they come to that conclusion. If that was Rose doing the offence that Maciel was doing, they all would have said Rose won clearly IMO.
