Brian Rose V Joachim Alcine

Dont know mate, i originally thought it was changed so erick could fight for british belt on rose undercard but now this has happened i have no idea.

 

Fairly safe to say Rose won't outpace Macklin in a h2h contrast :yep - but he could be the first to outclass and outpoint Alcine with finesse.

That said, the Haitian is crafty with a nice right hand that's at least the equal of the one Maxwell did Rose in with. :think

 

Alcine has never been a great fighter but this fight is good for Rose. Sky can market it as a step up against a world class operator who was out of his real weight division against Macklin (not my opinion). It's a international contest like Bellew vs Miranda. Presume it moves Rose up the World Rankings with at least one governing body and also allows him to perform in front of Winter Gardens again and build for a step up in summer.

The fight will go some rounds, Maybe a stoppage for Rose in later rounds but safe bet is points in a technical fight.

Eddie will take him down the Brook route IMO. Fighters who've won or contested world titles in past and just edge up Rankings with this type of fight.

 

Undercard looks good. Camacho vs Askin will be a great fight.

Very decent fight this in my opinion! Alcine may be a bit past his best but still a decent step up for rose!! Could be a good card this!!
