    Exactly, they always make excuses when it's someone foreign dealt with a BS stoppage (and this isn't even as bad as some). Seen that **** happen too many times.

    Brian's career is basically mostly over. He's past 30 isn't he? This is the third time he's tried to rebuild after being stopped. Feel this might be a nose dive he never recovers from.

    The hypocrisy of Watt and Halling is hilarious. Sure it was a premature stoppage, but then most UK stoppages are! What do they ever say for them when the British guy wins? If it was on the other foot and Jones was the one stopped in that way they'd be screaming and hollering that it was the performance of Rose's career and that he was back on the world title trail.

    Absolute bloody joke that we must continue on with this pathetic level of coverage from sky, let alone the pathetic level of refereeing. Nothing will ever be done about the latter though for so long as the British media (i.e sky) defend it. They're not defending it tonight but things like that are only made possible in the first place by their past failure to highlight the issue. Start highlighting the matter properly and then things might just start to change! They ****ing well need to!

    :nod Rose has lost to everyone he ever fought with a bit of pop except for Maciel, Alcine, (though both stunned him - incidentally, both with uppercuts during the relatively sp**** periods of headhunting by either, with both focusing mainly on body shots) and he fought largely on the backfoot against both.

    Maxwell, Andrade, now Jones all stopped him and besides Maciel & Alcine (& maybe shot Vivian Harris) the rest of his remotely notable opponents - carefully selected - have been ridiculously feather-fisted. (Carslaw, Webb, Arron, Welsh - averaging 4-5 career stoppages apiece)
