Oh come on, did you not watch that fight? He is a top class fighter but he looked a complete amateur, he nearly swung himself off his feet every time he threw a punch. I am not trying to criticise him but he looked very poor that night but if you couldn't see that watching the fight then you must be the casual. I also have no doubt that Barnes could sell out arenas, just like AJ in the UK, however Hearn will get slated as Barnes will headline vs journeyman for a while which is not what anyone wants to see.

Yes I have seen him fight as an amateur and he may not have been the most technically gifted or whatever but he did look very sloppy. I'm not here to slag off fighters at all, I actually avoid it but when you are being so pro Irish I have t say it how it is. I agree with your point on Barnes but 3 cards in Ireland where the card is topped with a mismatch, will people be happy with that? Its been proven that its not the case.

Barnes is a better fighter, I haven't denied that so don't go on like I have said that. Technically gifted was probably poorly worded but you understand my point and that was making the point of the fight on the Matchroom bill that Hearn couldn't have been impressed with. Irish fans wouldn't care but the hometown fans never do, look at Leeds with Warrington and Tubieron, they didn't care but we all knew that was a poor card to watch. Not sure on your issue with Edwards though, hardly like he is a bad fighter or an ****hole like that other fella in his weight division.
