I think the only question mark here is around the way these eliminators take place and rankings determined. Rose had not beat anyone with the exception of Maciel, which was very close anyway. He basically been at the British level and winning in relatively close fights, it's disputable whether he actually moved up much in levels at all prior to the Maciel fight. I think it was pretty obvious that Rose had no chance whatsoever. It was almost impossible to make a case for him to win. Not Brian's fault but it was undeserved if we are being honest.

The Eddie Hearn method seems to be about having his men fight nobodies, get an eliminator (usually against an b level fighter) then a world title shot. Mitchell, Bellew and Brook all follow that pattern. Maybe that's the way it is but I find it tedious. We literally had a year of Mitchell fighting nothing and then the eliminator. Not sure how the IBF can justify him moving into such lofty positions in their rankings by beating nothing.

Typical. British fans never fail to disappoint.

It's best to ignore him, Brian fell short, he's not the first or the last.

Roses effort vs Andrade made Bellews effort against Stevenson look competitive.

    And thats really saying something.

Did what he had to do to get chance to box a champion and came up short with a brave display. No shame there, as he said after the fight, Andrade was just too good for him.

No doubt that it was brave, but my god, it looked like he was punching and moving through treacle in there. I think you have to question the tactics when you're neither pressuring or throwing counters against a fairly slick combination puncher. He just seemed to wander into mid-range with his hands up and occasionally throw a telegraphed right hand. Very, very odd performance. Maybe the knock down in the first round rattled him and killed the game plan immediately?

End result is this tells us almost nothing about how good Andrade really is. It looked like a glorified one-sided sparring session.

Thats a given with that particular poster. Its thought he works for W/\rren, what surprised me is he is actually an adult. Talks and argues like a child.

Got beat by the better man no shame , was out his depth and personally think back at domestic level Liam Smith would stop him also , on the terms of money $100k minus all his fees training nutritional needs and so on leaves a pretty **** poor amount for a world title fight imo

Hearn don't taka a percentage fee of guys purses, he gets a fee separate of that of host promoter. Don't make much by sending his British class fighters to States Will make more from Brook fight and certainly Froch in Las Vegas no doubt

Just seen the fight. Wow! It made Devon Alexander vs Lee Purdy look competitive. I like Rose but he is NEVER world level. I would back Liam Smith to beat him fairly comfortably.

Alright, don't start crying on me. Butthurt much?

I didn't say he wasn't talented, I didn't mention Brian out of the ring, in training etc..did I? No. I gave him the nickname Brian the Embarrassment because his performance was embarrassing, which it was.

"I doubt youve ever put as much effort into anything you do mate.try and have some respect". SH1t son, you've just outed me on the global intranets for being a lazy *******. Whatever will I do now.

That performance was embarrassing. It makes British Boxing look amateur. Hearn is partially to blame for promising fighters riches and title fights, even though they clearly aren't ready for it.
