Brian Vera-If he weighs 180, fight is off

HBO is desperate for stars so they'll let Chavez do whatever he wants.

 

I'd say 180 is a more than reasonable cutoff for a super middleweight contest.

 

It's surprising because Chavez doesn't look out of shape really. This might all be just hype. But if it's not, it's basically Brian Vera being paid to go walk out into the middle of the street to be hit by a truck.

To bad HBO won't scrap this fight and just show the entire Canadian card instead.

Chavez is a joke. Ask yourself, if this guy didn't have his dad's name would we have even heard of him? **** no. Hes not nearly talented/serious enough.

His best attribute as a fighter isn't power. Its the ability to be forgiven for failed drug tests and come in 30 lbs over weight. Disgrace. I would love to seem him KO'd but that prob won't happen until he fights closer to his actual weight.

 

He's never come in overweight.

 

but has has failed two drug tests, tested positive for a diuretic, and has a fighter, and a HOF trainer who claim he dodged drug testing.

Yeah, but he didn't weigh-in at 180, he rehydrated to 180. HUUUUUGE difference.

 

.....Chavez Jr has shown so much work ethic to cut THAT amount of weight...rollseye. You really think he's not getting any help? There have been two seperate incidients, Marco Antonio Rubio, and Emmanuel Steward who both claim something was fishy with drug testing. I remember Steward claiming he saw to guys go in the stall with Chavez LOL.

The guy is a drug cheat and a fraud.

 

Please don't misunderstand me. I am, in no way, defending Jr. I was just stating facts.

 

this is all much of a muchness...chavez jr can weigh what he likes and if vera doesnt want to fight him then don't....but in fairness, its not vera bitching, its boxing fans....i dont see as much wrong here as others do.
look at it the other way, if chavez jr comes in very heavy, vera could rightly look at it as chavez not being in top shape and it being an advantage.

 

Everytime you try to like Chavez something like this shows what a true undeserving p***k he is.

 

Fighters will keep fighting him no matter what.
Chavez Jr leeches off his old mans name and his opponents leech of Chavez Jr's name, it's just one big nexus causality.
