I'm not sure, somewhere in the middle I think. Didn't Vera get sparked out in one or two round by Jaidon Condringdon on the contender? But on the other hand he flashed some Tex Cobb esque beard against James Kirkland who can clearly hit and he only hit the mat twice against Andy Lee in 18 rounds. And Craig McEwan has solid power and he couldn't put Vera away either. I think Lee's power is an interesting question as well. He nearly killed Carl Daniels, and he laid waste to McEwen and Willie Gibbs, but then he'll go the distance with the shot alex bunema and the certified china chinned denis sharpe. In other words, I'm not sure.
Its an interesting point because Andy Lee not a big puncher but he has very good hand-speed and can be deadly accurate,as he proved by dropping Vera in the second round.
Actually yes, Vera got caught with countless clean shots and by all rights should have been knocked out for good. There are only two reasons why this did not happen, and I have outlined both.
Quite honestly, it has to be Vera's chin. Andy Lee has sparked fighters in the past. Not particuarly good fighters, but Craig McEwan went on record to say that he had never been hit as hard as Lee hit him in all of his years as a Boxer, whether it in the competitive ring or sparring. You can actually sense just how hard Lee is throwing when he lands his punches. The crowd are always reacting to the impact. Lee is throwing with a lot of force in both his right and left hand. A fighter who has knocked out 19 of 27 wins must have some punching ability. It's irrefutable. All credit goes to Vera for being an absolute monster in those match-ups. I will say however that Lee doesn't have particuarly quick hands and he walks in straight lines so his opponent is more likely to see the punches coming. It's the punches you don't see that usually cause your night to end early. That might be an explanation for why Vera has been knocked out before, but the ability to take a punch is and never has been an exact science.
There's no ****in way you are serious with this type of ****. If you ARE saerious, that tells a great deal about your boxing acumen.
