Mayol is just lobbing in body shots, without any real rhyme or reason to his work. Miranda is grabbing Mayol's arms and pinning them, and landing uppercuts. Miranda is thumping himself on the chest, hyping himself up. Jab by Miranda, and he eats a couple of counter jabs while loading up a telegraphed right hand. Mayol clinches, and grinds his head into Miranda's. Body shots traded by both. Mayol steers Mirnada to the ropes and pushes his butt through them. Holding and hitting. Miranda trips over his own feet and does a face plant into the bottom rope after they disentangle from a clinch at the bell. That can be dangerous! Boxers have died doing that...

Nah, Mayol missed the hook that he threw there at the bell. Miranda flipped head over heels on his own.

 

Round 5

Body shots by Mayol!! Right cross to the chin, and Miranda is down a third time!! Up immediately. Breathing hard but looks game and ready to go. Mayol circles out to his left and stretches out long jabs. 1-2. Mayol crouches and leans back on his heels. Miranda eats a couple of FLUSH straight left jabs to the face, snapping his head back. BIG LEFT HOOKS BY MAYOL!! Miranda teeters, but doesn't fall! Mayol crouches and moves right. Jabs up through the guard by Mayol. Overhand right by Miranda, blocked. Clinch, and Miranda lands a right uppercut while clamping down on Mayol's arms with his left. A steady beat of light body shots tapped out by Miranda in the clinch. Mayol pushes his way outside and ducks back, waiting to spring into Miranda and hold when he gets close. Miranda lands another uppercut. Mayol ducks and weaves through some of Miranda's sloppy punches.
