I portion the blame far more on greens shoulders since it all started with them. They called briggs out of the blue for a reason...they wanted a gimme fight and damn well knew they had the right guy to give them one.

i dont know what else he was supposed to say on such short notice.
the last thing green wanted was 10,000 people demanding a refund for something that he had nothing to do with.
instead of that he apologised, acknowledged he had alot to make up to the public and went on to bring out three very legit, world class fights in succession. good way to deal with things if you ask me.

 

The irony in all this?......

Briggs should call on danny green as the star/ expert witness when he appeals.

After all, danny did go in to detail about how the fight was legit. What better testimony than from the opponent and promoter waving around a dvd and giving a detailed description of how briggs knock down was not suspicious at all.
