Going one step further, I'd say this is the key difference between Wlad and Lewis. As you said, if push comes to shove, Lewis can and will fight. Wlad ?? Haven't seen it yet.

Briggs talking out of his arse after a beating....

Clearly VITLAY isn't better than Lewis seeing as a. His ring accompllshments aren't even on the same planet as Lewis's, and b. He actually lost to the guy, when he had a significant age advantage :patsch

As for VITLAY hitting harder than Foreman and Lewis....yes Shannon OK we all believe you, you've got an iron chin. :nut

Saw the fight. Briggs was saved by the bell in the 7th. The fight should have been stopped in the 10th and for sure in the 12th. Briggs has a fire hydrant of a neck and a huge durable head, but that was to his detriment in this fight. It was a beating. Briggs fought a little dirty with hitting and holding, and a few attempted low blows. Vitali's trainer said he's going to fight on for a while. Adamek is next on March, and after that the winner of Solis. vs Austin.

Some say Vitali has slowed down a bit. I don't see it.

People should cease with the Vitali vs Lewis talk...

The fight that happened was great, a war, Vitali got cut badly once(There were other cuts, but they would not have stopped the fight) by a glancing right, both men gave it there all, the glancing right cut was the difference.

People saying Vitali was winning, the fight was half done, 6 rounds to go is a long time.

People saying Lewis won and it was a great fight, you are correct.

People saying Lewis brutalized Klitschko or whatever, serve it. One punch did 60% of that damage, and it was a fluke shot. The fight was competitive and went both ways, and Lewis got jacked up pretty bad himself.

Itd be a great fight to watch prime for prime.

    :patsch

Briggs was obviously talking from personal ring experience and was probably correct in his assumption. Any moron with half a working brain can see that:

-Old Foreman was painfully slow, inactive, and had been scraping by cans with controversial decisions when Briggs faced him:

-Lewis was ugly and fighting stupid against Briggs, allowing himself to get dragged into a competitive slugfest.

Briggs was not saying Vitali was better than these guys:

It was not a fluke shot, Lewis hit VITLAY in the face which was his intended target, and did massive damage. That's kind of the point.

Lewis got stopped twice in his career, a lot of people claim they were fluke shots too, but they weren't.

Prime for prime it wouldn't be a great fight, it'd be Lewis v Grant all over again. As Lewis himself said "he's lucky the doctor stopped the fight, just look at his face" :yep

On this I think if anyone has the right to say who is tougher, it is a guy who fought them all. Juan Roldan said that Hearns punched harder than Hagler. No doubt. I believed him

Mitch Green. (I think there were possibly others as well.)

I believe Mike landed 280 or so punches on Mitch over ten rounds.

(This was in the ring, not the rumble outside Dapper Dan's).:yep

That said, I believe Mike hit harder than VITALI.

(Wlad does too. And so did Lennox).

And, of course, so did Big George.

It was a fluke shot. Land a right hand on Vitali's face 1000 times, and thats the one right hand that cuts him that way.

Fluke does not mean lucky. Just means that it probably wouldn't happen again. The right hand that cut Vitali was not lucky, it was a fluke.

Prime for prime it would be a great fight. Lewis was happier the fight was over then anybody in the arena. I think Lewis would probably win, maybe decisively, but cutting somebody serves no indication of how dominant you'd be in a fight, especially considering most of the action, barring the cut causing punches and a big uppercut, was Klitschko's way.

A TKO cut causing punch is not a knockout punch. Lewis won that fight fair and square, but I don't get what about that fight lets people conclude Lewis would have finished Klitschko in a couple of rounds. Lewis was faded but his power wasn't, and Vitali handled it fine.

Prime for Prime, Lewis wins a competitive 8-4 type decision. Im sure of it.

Prime for prime Vitali v Lennox? I'm sorry but it would be a serious hiding for Vitaly, every time.
