Briggs fends off health rumours

I have been in a street fight with Briggs (same side) and he will never dog out ever...Im sure he saved my ass :deal

I have huge respect for the guy but Im concerned about his ring rust and health against a dangerous puncher like Green

I was the manager of a nightclub in Brisbane valley for 2 years

In the valley where china town is.....sometimes the boys get a bit keen and want to go us.

Most of the boys on the door were 120kgs plus and on the gas (hi guys if your reading :hi: 1993 to 1995) but the china boys were in the 30's in numbers

Because I was 120kgs myself in the day I was at the front of the door with my 2 doorman and we tossed out 10 asian guys.

All of a sudden the numbers went to 30 plus and PB showed up (looking rather dapper I must say dressed in all balck) standing on the door with us....2 of my mates were there as well (juice heads )

Nathan was there as well but was down stairs (big clue to where in the valley we where :hey:yep)

Anyway it went off and 6 against 30 never goes well unless the 6 have some good fighters in there (me not included )

Everything we did was in defence and I know PB acted in defence only :deal as he was attacked

PB is dangerous as a fighter but if he can use the legs as well its just savage

 

come on briggs one more vintage performance... its a hard line to tell someone like paul briggs look mate this fight isnt in there best interests.. so i help everyone in his camp has got his back and his safety in mind..

 

I honestly hope that if Paul has any issues with his health during the lead up that he pulls the plug on this fight.
But if what he says is true in that he no longer has any health issues then this should be a pearler of a fight for 6-8 rds.

I wish we had more to gauge Briggs on. I really hope he wins but you can't even guess how well he's kept it and how he will perform

 

i will be having 100 dollars on Briggs to win. he is paying $5... dont think he should be that long...

 

I would imagine that Briggs will have more supporters for this bout than Green.

what people are forgetting is briggs has already said he asked green for the fight twice! as such you would hope he is not stupid and has had his health checked. I also understand green did his own checks so all we can say its on and lets hope its a good one, but forget the health crap. if he wasn't fit, wouldn't be sanctioned.

 

I wager it's a decent payday for Briggs. I hope so.

Prime for Prime, Briggs take Green. At his peak he was both sublime and powerful with a ton of fight in him.

Older, with kids, inactive, heath issues Briggs? Not sure. Danny will box early then try to take him deep and bang him out I reckon. If Briggs doesn't gas out, he's a very good chance to weather the incoming, then who knows?
